Last Night the leaders of the EPL and the SPL went head to head in the most anticipated match in group F. For me, United dominated the game throughout the first half probably having over 60% of possession and giving Celtic a lesson on how to play keep ball, playing the way they were i couldn't see a defeat looming .
As the 2nd half got under it seemed that Celtic wanted to attempted to force the game a little more although luckerly this lasted for probably the best part of 10 minutes and then we once again took full control.
With the clock slowly running down and me getting more and more fruastrated Celtic where awarded a very dubious free kick, not a chance did Vidic commit a foul. Shunsuke Nakamura had scored similarly in the reverse fixture, but i never thought it could happen again. Unfortunately for me, i was wrong, his unstoppable free quick left Van Der Saar with no chance and Celtic went one up with only 10 minutes to play.
United, the fans (myslef included) and probably half of Scotland, were left completely shell shocked. United had lost having played the better football throughout.
Gutted!
