United Win Derby

Man U are now 9 points clear at the top of the Table after winning the Manchester derby. Goals from Rooney, Saha and Ronaldo marked a great win for us. City's woeful defending made it easy for United's attacking trio and finishes of a good week as we cemented our place in the knock-out stages of the Champions Leagues on Wednesday.

All my focus, along with most of the Uniteds fans, is in now on the big London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea.

I feel sick saying this and hope to never say it again but "COME ON ARSENAL"

Arsenal Get Through..........great

What’s new! Arsenal has once again scrapped through to the next round(Please excuse me while i contain me excitement), this time in very controversial fashion. Porto was the much better side throughout the match and hit the woodwork twice. The controversy comes from the actions of both teams in the last 5 five minutes of the game when both side, who only needed a draw to advance, sat back and virtually refused to attack. This has been seen before in other games, most recently for me was the match between Sweden and Demark in Euro 2004. There has been things said that the draw was arranged but these are pretty doubtful at best. In the end this result is good for English football and means that all the premiership teams topped their respected groups

Man Utd Reach Champions League Knock Out Stages

After giving everyone a scare yesterday we eventually managed to escape the group phrase and even end up coming top of our group. It was a great start to this year’s Champions League for once; we made light work of the first 3 matches, that’s something we have struggled to do in previous years. Although it all seemed to be going wrong in the last 2 away games losing both 1-0, so when Benfica scored first last night i was starting to see another pattern immerging. Thankfully we were able to find some of our illustrious Premiership form and came back to win 3-1.
On reflection after going down 1-0, we played magnificently well and won it pretty comfortably, bring on someone easy! lol

Rossi To Return In Jan

Man U's Young starlet Giuseppe Rossi will make his return to United in the January transfer window. This is very pleasing to me as i rate him so highy. His infrequent use at Newcastle, where he has ben on loan since the start of the season is the reason for his return.

This is what Newcastle have missed out on and what United is will be gaining come Jan 1st

Fletcher Header Extends Lead

Man Utd where forced to work for the whole 3 points yesterday when they went to the Riverside. United lost the fixture last year 4 goals to 1 and new that a defeat would put Chelsea right back in the mix. This was not an option, Chelski lost to Boro at the start of this season to.

The game ended with United winning 2-1. Thats 2 wins now i can tell your excited!
A penalty from Louis Saha put Man U ahead after Ronaldo when down in the box. Middlesbrough to their credit rallied hard and hit the post soon after. In the 2nd half the home team equalised through James Morrison's low volley, but the celebrations where short lived. Darren Fletcher who started his 2nd game in row headed in the winner 2 minutes later after a nice move, thats classic United turning it on when its needed.

United are now 6 ponits clear at the top of the EPL and can look to increase the margin to 9 when they play City next Saturday. Chelsea don't play their next Premiership match untill the Sunday.

Could Man U Be Signing Larsson

Manchester United are due to sign Henrik Larsson on a loan according to reports in Sweden. This is one amazinfg story. A press conference has been arranged 10 minutes from now in which these reports are expected to be confirmed.
Larsson is expected to sign for United on loan from Helsingborgs for three months.
Larsson who turned the champion league final on its head last season(remember that) will be hugely welcomed by all United fans.

The signing is down to Uniteds current lack of striking options, with only Saha and Rooney being fit to start recent matches. Although United are currently top scorers in England and are getting goals from all over the park, the signing is good news to Man Utd fans and has come completely out of the blue.

Here is a video of some of Henrik Larsson's goals.
